Welcome to in the Philippines
Block 23, Lot 19, Allejo Street, Vista Grande Subdivision, Talisay City, Cebu, 6045 Philippines

On April 30, 2012, we moved into our new house!
This was 2 years and one month after we came to the Philippines; after we considered building a house in Surigao, where we first lived;
after 6 months of looking in Cebu - 2 months commuting from Surigao, and 4 months of renting a Cebu apartment.
We were using 4 different Cebu real estate agents. We looked at close to 50 houses.
When we came across this one, online, we just knew it was our house. It was so unique. We called it "wonky."
It is a 3 floor house with 3 bedrooms plus a maids room/storage room, 4 bathrooms, and a roof deck with an ocean view.

We had purchased our house at the end of January 2011, but it required extensive renovations (which took 3 months plus 1 week).

This was a good thing.
Now we have a new kitchen; a new "dirty kitchen;" a new office; a new master bath; a new master closet; all new windows & all new doors; all new appliances;
new sinks; new toilets; a couple of new interior walls;
new plumbing; new electricity & new lighting fixtures; some new tiles; a new security fence;
and new paint inside & out.

And much, much more!
We have, in essence, a brand new house!

This is what the house looked like when we first saw it
